2011 Activities

We hope you all have wonderful and safe holidays. When you get back in January, King Henry will start up again with our fun monthly activities.

January: Movie Night
Our last Movie Night was so successful that we're going to have a second round on Monday, 10 January. Come to the clubhouse at 9 p.m. for hot cocoa, popcorn, and an enjoyable film. You'll have the chance to vote for either The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, or Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

February: Annual Dating Game
This is one of our most popular activities. You can either sign up to be a lucky bachelor or bachelorette, or you can sit and watch the fun on Thursday, 10 February. We'll meet at 8 p.m. in the clubhouse.

March: Pool Opening Party
With the pool set to 80 degrees, you can enjoy the water most of the year! So come to our Pool Opening Party on Saturday, 26 March for a cookout. The party will run from 1 to 3 p.m.

Leaving for the Holidays

Whether or not you are just leaving for the holidays, or you are actually moving out after the fall semester, the following information applies to you.

If you sold your contract with King Henry for the winter semester, your last day here is Friday the 17th. Be sure to stop by the office and sign up for a checkout time. This is crucial to avoid a $35 no-checkout fee. Before your departure please ensure that all of your belongings have been removed from the apartment, and that the light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries are in working order. You may also want to check your account balance with the office staff to see if you owe anything additional.

If you are returning to King Henry for the winter semester, please make sure your apartment is clean before you leave for the break. New roommates may move in while you are gone, and we want them to feel comfortable upon their arrrival. Also, check that your light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries are in working order. This is a good time to resolve any damage issues in your apartment, while every resident is still here.

Keep an eye out for more informational flyers next week.
