Whether or not you are just leaving for the holidays, or you are actually moving out after the fall semester, the following information applies to you.
If you sold your contract with King Henry for the winter semester, your last day here is Friday the 17th. Be sure to stop by the office and sign up for a checkout time. This is crucial to avoid a $35 no-checkout fee. Before your departure please ensure that all of your belongings have been removed from the apartment, and that the light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries are in working order. You may also want to check your account balance with the office staff to see if you owe anything additional.
If you are returning to King Henry for the winter semester, please make sure your apartment is clean before you leave for the break. New roommates may move in while you are gone, and we want them to feel comfortable upon their arrrival. Also, check that your light bulbs and smoke alarm batteries are in working order. This is a good time to resolve any damage issues in your apartment, while every resident is still here.
Keep an eye out for more informational flyers next week.

Polar Bear Dip in a Couple Weeks
If you want to see some ridiculous fun, then you should come to King Henry’s Annual Polar Bear Dip. This activity is one our biggest and most exciting events each year. At 10 a.m. on Saturday, 4 December, head over to the pool. If you’re feeling brave you can dive into the freezing water for cash and other prizes—and all divers get a free t-shirt! Afterward all attendants can get warm in the clubhouse and enjoy a delicious Dutch oven breakfast cooked by our very own Gene Harris, Maintenance Supervisor. Whether or not you actually get in the pool, this is an event you don’t want to miss.

Winter Movie Night
In just a couple weeks King Henry will host the Winter Movie Night. Come to the cluhbouse after FHE on Monday, 15 November, at 9 p.m. Bring pillows and blankets, and dress comfy! We'll serve hot cocoa and popcorn for you to enjoy while watching How to Train Your Dragon. This is a great film, so whether or not you've already seen it, meet us for a night of relaxation.
