Outdoor Spooky Movie Night!

Even though we had to reschedule the outdoor movie night, because of bad weather, we still had such a blast! Everyone watched Signs as they ate popcorn, candy and drank some steamy hot chocolate :)

Welcome Back Party/ Returning Resident Party

WELCOME BACK PARTY

We had such a wonderful time at our annual Welcome Back party event. We had a boxing ring inflatable, a taco stand, refreshments, Chleo Threads came out and sold BYU shirts and a live band and a D.J!

Renewal Party
We had over 100 renewing residents that showed up to their renewal party. Everyone received a $20 credit and two people won a $50 mastercard. Congratulations Marcus Russell and Conner Hansen!!

July 01-July 06 2013!

July 1st- Opening Ceremonies
The Opening Ceremonies was a good turnout and it was the beginning to all of the excitement! We had a blue, red and white team and they all created team names, flags and cheers!
Best of the Best

Best Name: “Blue Man Group”

Best Team Flag: Red Team

Best Skit/Cheer: Tie between Red & White

Best Attendance: White Team

Best Dressed: Blue

July 2nd- Double Water Slide, Tug o' War and Giant Twister
This year we added a huge double water slide in to the mix for freedom week and it was a success, in fact, it was the most popular ;). We also did tug o' war which the BLUE team won and then we played a game of giant twister which was won by the WHITE team! Great job!!

July 3rd- Water Balloon/Flour Battle Capture the Flag
We played capture the flag and in order to release prisoners from jail, members of their own team had to hit them with water balloons, towards the end the tenants just made "bombs" with the sacks of flour and started bombing the other teams. It made a mess but was fun as you can tell from the pictures!!

July 5th- Freedom Dance
We had D.J Ashby come out and play some AWESOME music and had chips and candy. Even though it poured outside we didn't let it stop us, we just moved the party inside!

July 6th- BBQ
The BBQ was soooo delicious thanks to Emil (R.A) and Gavin (part of the Activities Committee)! Here are some pictures!

SKYFALL - Outdoor Movie Night at King Henry

We had a blast watching Skyfall on the big screen out on the King Henry front lawn! King Henry provided the popcorn, drinks, and candy. It was a fun after FHE activity and date night!

Fun Pictures from the Spring Pool Opening Barbeque Last Saturday!!

The weather wasn't exactly what we had hoped it would be, but the BBQ went GREAT on Saturday. We had lots of people stop by for food. It wasn't the best swimming weather, though we did have some people enjoying the hot tub. Overall, it was a great activity and we are really grateful to Melissa (who also does Cleaning Checks!) for helping us barbeque! You're awesome!
